“Make Prince Edward the new manager of Arsenal,” says Queen

HAVING foisted Prince Charles on the Commonwealth, Queen is desperate to offload another son.

The Queen has made an unprecedented appeal that her youngest son, Prince Edward, should take over from Arsene Wenger on the death of his career.”

“The Royal family are all gooners!” said Peregrine Snook, Palace Spokesman.

“So this sincere wish of her Majesty makes perfect sense.”

“She is flushed with success today after she managed to wangle Prince Charles the cushy Commonwealth holiday club.”

“We would all prefer Princess Markle to do it.”

We asked Gavin Rowlocks, a lifelong arsenal fan, what he thought of her Majesty’s heartfelt plea.

“He has the experience for it,” said Mr Rowlocks.

“Prince Edward spent years at the ‘The Really Useful Theatre Group’.”

“He is more than comfortable with directing pantomimes and farces.”
